Partner Spotlight: Pacific Policy Group
Pacific Policy Group, LLC (PPG) is a Sacramento based lobbying and consulting firm aimed at bettering California’s environment through focused policy and funding strategies that meet the needs of their clients. PPG’s expertise is in climate change, natural resources and water, clean energy and local government.
Prior to founding PPG, Principals Tasha Newman and Mark Fenstermaker worked for Conservation Strategy Group as the Legislative Director and Director of Conservation and Funding Programs, respectively. During this time, Ms. Newman and Mr. Fenstermaker were the primary staff working on CARCD’s legislative and funding priorities. Accordingly, Ms. Newman and Mr. Fenstermaker have a comprehensive understanding of RCD needs and goals and how to achieve them.
They both have been instrumental in forming relationships with key lawmakers, increasing visibility of RCDs a the state level, as well as educating RCDs on how to best engage with their local elected officials such as with the Advocacy Academy.
CARCD is expecting a packed legislative season for 2019 and are thrilled to have Pacific Policy Group’s expertise, skill and passion advocating for RCDs at the capitol.
