2019 Speak-Off Announcement
Every year, the California Association of Resource Conservation Districts hosts a competition for high school students who want to speak out about conservation. Students first compete at the regional level, with the top speakers advancing to the state competition.
CARCD is excited to announce the 2019 Speak-Off Contest topic:
“Why do we need to act to save the monarch butterfly? What can RCDs do to help?”
This year’s state Speak-Off Competition will be held during lunch on Thursday, November 14 during CARCD’s 74th Annual Conference. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three competitors: $300 first place, $200 second place, $100 third place.
