CARCD Virtual Conference Call for Abstracts

The California Association of Resource Conservation Districts (CARCD) is accepting presentation proposals for our virtual conference!

From November 12th – 24th, 2020, CARCD will be continuing the tradition of bringing together representatives from federal and state agencies, non-profits, private industries, farming communities, and resource conservation districts to share knowledge, build partnerships, and address urgent natural resource challenges including climate-smart agriculture, the tree mortality crisis, community fire resilience, sustainable groundwater management, watershed health, social equity in conservation, and wildlife preservation.

This year for the first time, our conference will be fully online. We are excited to leverage technology to make this the most accessible and versatile conference yet. To take advantage of the flexibility of the virtual event, not only will we be accepting proposals for traditional presentations and panels, but also for field tours, live demonstrations, pre-recorded videos, and other creative alternatives that will engage, teach, and inspire. As always, we encourage you to partner with others to help tell your story.

Informational Webinar

The virtual conference format will be new for everybody—and we’re here to answer your questions! The CARCD team hosted an informational webinar on July 15, 2020 to give a fuller picture of the virtual conference experience and to answer any questions that prospective presenters may have.

You can view the webinar here.
