RFP Released For Development of CFDN Website
The California Farm Demonstration Network (CFDN) was formed in 2016 by six of California’s biggest agricultural organizations to help turn vision into reality. Those organizations included: The California Association of Resource Conservation Districts (CARCD), University of California Agriculture and Natural Resources (UCANR), University of California at Davis (UCD), California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA), the California Farm Bureau Federation (CFBF), and the US Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service, California (NRCS). CARCD has secured funding to advance this project, and is hosting this RFP and contract on behalf of the collaboration of partners. CARCD, on behalf of the CFDN, seeks proposals for the development of a website which will serve as a hub of resources and information for California’s farmers, ranchers, and agricultural technical assistance providers. The website will allow users to access regional- and cropping system-specific information about conservation practice implementation within the state.
