CARCD Board of Directors updates and vacancies
Sacramento, June 1st 2021 – The California Association of Resource Conservation Districts announces changes to its Board of Directors. The recent retirements, movements and additions are as follows:
Phil Schoefer retired as the Secretary/Treasurer at the end of 2020 with his retirement from the Western Shasta RCD. The Board thanks him for his decades of dedication and service at the local, regional and statewide level.
Harold Singer of the Tahoe RCD moved from the Vice President role to the Secretary/Treasurer role.
Colleen Hatfield of the Butte County RCD moved into the role of Vice President after serving as the Sacramento Valley Regional Chair for four and a half years.
Sheryl Landrum of the RCD of Greater San Diego County resigned as the SoCal Baja Regional Chair.
Cheryl Casdorph of the Tehachapi RCD resigned at the High Desert Regional Chair.
Due to the recent changes in the officer positions, the current vacancies on the Board of Directors include:
- Central Sierra Regional Chair*
- High Desert Regional Chair
- Sacramento Valley Regional Chair*
- SoCal Baja Regional Chair*
- SoCal Inland Regional Chair*
- Three ex-officio positions (can be from outside the RCD community)
*Regions that have representation via the officer positions.
