Angel Hertslet

Sierra Nevada Project Manager, The Nature Conservancy

Angel Hertslet is the Sierra Nevada Project Manager for the California Chapter of The Nature Conservancy. Her work is focused on increasing the pace and scale of forest restoration in the Sierra Nevada through the use of ecological thinning and prescribed fire. Before joining The Nature Conservancy, she worked on regional conservation planning in the Bay Area, community forestry in Connecticut, and legal defense of polluted communities in New York City. She holds a Master of Environmental Management from Yale University.
