Devin Best

Executive Director, Upper Salinas-Las Tablas Resource Conservation District

Devin Best has a degree in Ethnobotany from Humboldt State University. He started his career working in the Americorps Watershed Stewards Project in Northern California which gave him the experience and skills to look at watershed scale restoration and management.  He has worked for a variety of federal and state agencies, but enjoys working in the non-profit sector for its ability to be adaptable and innovative.  His experience working throughout the west coast has shown how collaboration and natural resource management are fundamental to any community.  Devin continues to build upon his early experiences, trying to bring communities together to build long-lasting partnerships with goals of stewardship and ecological restoration.
