Jerry Rivero

Campaign Director, Toxic-Free Neighborhoods, Environmental Health Coalition

Even before Jerry joined EHC in 2017, he had dedicated himself to serving families and communities in the Los Angeles region that struggle with high levels of toxic pollution. With a Masters in Planning in Social and Community Planning from the University of Southern California, he brings his passion for urban planning to improve the quality of life in low-income communities of color.

Now, Jerry does the same work in the San Diego/Tijuana region as our Toxic-Free Neighborhoods Director. His role empowers him to advocate for healthy and safe communities by influencing local policy and driving decision makers to prioritize environmental justice.

In his spare time Jerry can be found enjoying and playing music under the shade of an oak tree with his lovely wife Noemi.
