Justin Bodell
California Conservation and Stewardship Program Manager, American Farmland TrustJustin Bodell is American Farmland Trust’s California Conservation and Stewardship Program Manager. In this role, Justin leads the charge on a collection of our Farmers Combating Climate Change projects aimed at preserving the long-term health of our soil and water. Justin’s immediate projects include the San Joaquin Land and Water Strategy and Farms for the Next Generation.
A licensed landscape architect, Justin has 20 years of experience in the design and construction of natural resource conservation projects, including erosion control on farms and ranches, water conservation, wetlands, in-stream habitat enhancement, rainwater catchment and native plant revegetation. Prior to working at AFT, Justin served as a Project Manager at the Sonoma Resource Conservation District, and as Project Manager and Construction Superintendent at a private environmental restoration company.
