Rachel Smith

Partner Biologist, American Bird Conservancy

Rachel Smith joined American Bird Conservancy in February 2018 as the Southwestern Riparian Partner Biologist tasked with focusing on riparian restoration for threatened bird species.  She has a B.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences from Texas A&M University and an M.S. in Range and Wildlife Management from Texas A&M University-Kingsville where her research focused on Northern Bobwhite quail on grazed rangelands.  She has previously worked with endangered passerines on military lands, MAPS banding stations and in environmental consulting.
