
William Hart
Project Manager, Gold Ridge RCDWilliam joined Gold Ridge RCD in September of 2012 and he is responsible for project management. In his time with the RCD, William has provided oversight of environmental restoration projects, as well as report and grant writing skills. William has been active in production agriculture related projects including a 319(h) grant with dairy producers in the Laguna de Santa Rosa watershed. He has expertise in field data collection techniques including topographic surveying and GPS applications. He is skilled in using ArcGIS for data management, analysis and map creation. Prior to joining Gold Ridge RCD, he worked in various capacities for the Marin Agricultural Land Trust, USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service, the Marin Resources Conservation District, the North Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board, and the Friends of the Urban Forest. He also served in the U.S. Peace Corps in Guatemala. William earned a bachelor’s in Soil Science from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and a master’s from the Hutchins Institute for Public Policy Studies & Community Studies at Sonoma State University.
