Monarch Caterpillars at Putah Creek - Yolo RCD

Yolo Resource Conserveration District has found about 20 monarch caterpillars using the milkweed they planted at Putah Creek Fishing Access. This habitat work is shown to be effective.

NACD Grant Awards: Congratulations to East Stanislaus, Inland Empire, and Mission RCDs

NACD has announced awards of Urban and Community Grants for 35 Recipients and California is well represented by three RCDs: East Stanislaus, Inland Empire, and Mission. As part of an ongoing effort to build capacity in the community-oriented agricultural space, NACD started offering UAC planning grants for up to $10,000 in 2022. Click here to read more about this year’s awards.
