NACD Grant Awards: Congratulations to East Stanislaus, Inland Empire, and Mission RCDs

NACD has announced awards of Urban and Community Grants for 35 Recipients and California is well represented by three RCDs: East Stanislaus, Inland Empire, and Mission. As part of an ongoing effort to build capacity in the community-oriented agricultural space, NACD started offering UAC planning grants for up to $10,000 in 2022. Click here to read more about this year’s awards.

Annual Speak-Off Competition

Each year, California Association of Resource Conservation Districts (CARCD) hosts their Annual Speak-Off Competition. High school students (Grades 9-12) compete to show off their public speaking skills and knowledge of resource conservation. First, students compete at a regional level with winners advancing to the state level which takes place during CARCD's Annual Conference. First place winner
